Footlighters Theatre Childrens Workshops

Current Children's Workshop Schedules

Acting Excercises
 

Enhance acting ability, character building, self-esteem and teamwork through imagination exercises and acting games. Learn audition techniques needed to land that special role. Experience the technical aspects of theatre including stage managment, lights, sound, costumes, props and set design and decoration. At the end of the session, an on-stage performance will be presented for family and friends. Create, rehearse and act out a story. Get a chance to be appointed Jr. Director and Jr. Stage Manager.
Each session will differ slightly for those who wish to enroll in successive classes.

 
Class Schedules
 

Weekend Workshops

Time: Saturdays: 9 am to 11 am

Tuition: $125 for 5 Saturdays

Fall: Sept 29 thru Oct 27, 2007

Winter: Feb 2 thru March 1, 2008

Spring: March 29 thru April 26, 2008

2008 Summer Workshops

Time: Monday - Friday: 10 am to 3 pm

Tuition: $350 for 3 full weeks

Session #1: July 7 to July 25, 2008

Session #2: August 4 to August 22, 2008

Parents of our young theatre workshop apprentices appreciate the fact that the children are developing skills in a variety of categories in a fun environment. They are delighted when they discover that the children are making friends for life through their involvement in the arts. They are impressed by our talented and dedicated staff, and are invited to the children's stellar performance at the end of each session.
