Director’s Notes: Have you ever wondered “do black patent leather shoes really reflect up?” or if “white shiny pearls really reflect down”? Whether you have or not, every one has memories of their childhood. Some even share the exact same memories mentioned in the show. But whether you were a Catholic or a “Public” you can still remember the joy and pain of growing up; the anticipation and hesitation of your first love; or the triumphs and defeats of “permanent record”. Our hope is that this production not only brings back those memories and more, but also helps to add a little levity to the times when we once thought everything was a matter of permanence. Although I have never attended Catholic School I can still remember my childhood friend telling me how important it was to wear shorts or boxers underneath your skirt so you did not fall victim to “dress up day”. So to all the schoolgirls who started the trend way before Madonna- this show’s for you! Enjoy! View the entire Program
