one of the oldest buildings in Cinnaminson, deeded in 1906.
- We bring a cultural and educational
institution to the community for more than 65 years.
- Because of our commitment to childrens
educational exposition to live theatre as evidenced by dozens of letters
from teachers and students alike, including:
- (4) $300 scholarships for summer camp (3 wks.)
- $200 award to a Cinnaminson high school graduate pursuing theatre.
- Year-round co-existing with the community through daily usage of our
driveways and surrounds to gain access to Wood Park's facilities.
- Allowing the community school buses to park on our
grounds in between runs for nine months of the year.
- Allowing the use
of our driveways and parking for hundreds of cars for all Wood Park
sporting events and church carnival from early spring through the Thanksgiving
tournaments.
- Receiving the Burlington County Times 'Best Award for
theatre as voted by the readers for many years.
- Hosting disabled children
mid-week from Burlington and Camden County cerebral palsy centers to
see our family productions free of charge for many years.
- Displaying
local area artists work in our Grand Hall gallery
4 times a year for the past 20 years.
- Displaying the art and photography
of the Cinnaminson students during the 16 performance run of the Childrens
Show each March.
- Using
our Playhouse as an alternate site for inclement weather during the
7 week Wood Park Summer Concert Series free of charge.
- Donating free
play tickets to many triboro charitable functions to be used for
auctions and fund-raising activities.
