Please read before "acting up"
Burlington County Footlighters is a successful,
all-volunteer community organization, providing quality theatre
to the South Jersey area since 1939. We want to ensure an
enjoyable experience for all.
We have a few simple guidelines:
- There will be NO SMOKING anywhere in
our building. If you smoke, please go to
the rear entrance. Dispose of cigarett butts. Our theatre has
a sensitive fire and smoke alarm that automatically calls the
Cinnaminson fire department. Their unexpected appearance is spectacular,
and may cost you money.
- Our stage crew expends time
and energy preparing the stage for your stellar performance.
They are small in number, and really need your help in dismantling
the stage and putting things away after the last performance.
Joining the work party the day after the last performance is
greatly appreciated.
- Be a member
of our organization. Dues include 4 tickets to
your own performance. Our insurance provider insists that
you become a member if you are participating in the production
in any way; cast or crew.
- Please be
punctual for rehearsals and performances. We
value everyone's time. A missing cast member throws
off crucial timing. The producer will prepare a rehearsal
schedule and a list of phone numbers for you to call
if there is a problem.
- Respect handicapped
parking areas. Cinnaminson Police will write you a
ticket if you do not display the proper indications.
- Cast and
crew may not reserve seats. This is strictly enforced. Seats
may not be reserved, except for audience members with disabilities
and their caregivers. Please read the Seating
Policy (link
at left)
- A telephone is provided in the actors
lounge for your use. You may use it
for local calls only. The number is 856/829-2522.
Please tell your family or significant someone
to call only if urgent
- Please do not enter the technical
room. The sound and light crews are concentrating
on making your performance shine.
- Clean up after yourself. Basic
refreshments and light snacks are generally
available during rehearsals and performances. Do not
mix up the trash. We have recycle buckets
for bottles and soda cans.
- Please do not bring in messy food (like say, ravioli) that
might stain a costume and ruin a production.
The
above guidelines will help ensure the production of quality theatre and
make everyone's experience at Footlighters an enjoyable one.
- Report
any potential problems to the producer, director
or a board member.
Thanks,
Footlighters
