Later This Season: As Bees in Honey Drown

May 7th - 21st 2010

The intoxication of fame... the rapid, swirling business of being SOMEBODY in the Big Apple... the temptation of luxuries... and the underlying quest to find oneself when the next big thing leaves you out in the cold... these are just some of the themes of this delicious, decidedly metropolitan comedy. When the success of small town Evan Wyler's debut novel throws him suddenly into the decadent New York scene, he latches onto the beguiling Alexa Vere de Vere, a sort of modern-day Sally Bowles, hoping to sustain his new status by completing a screenplay of her fabulous life story. But just who is Alexa, really? It's a question that will baffle Evan as he remembers her words: "You're not the person you were born—who wonderful is?"

The Burlington County Model Railroad Club is located in the basement of our theater. Their entrance is on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot, in the driveway next to the Pomona Swim Club. They have worked over 20 years on their layout, and it is a spectacular experience for young and old. Always planning an open house, but best of all, kids under 12 are free!
