About Us
Established in 1938 and based in Cinnaminson, New Jersey,
the Burlington County Footlighters is one of the most dynamic non-profit community
theater groups in southern New Jersey, and today boasts an active membership of over 500
subscribers across the Middle Atlantic region.
What sets the Footlighters apart from other groups? It
is unique in its artistic style and presentation; using workshops to involve
our community of adults, young adults and children in singing, comedy, dance
and drama, many for the first time.
Footlighters presents a variety of theatre styles including
drama, mystery, comedy, music and original productions. Producing four mainstage
and one childrens show in our season, we are an all-volunteer group with exceptionally
high standards with a focus on presentation and performance. Browse images
of our many talented productions HERE.
If you are interested in helping us with productions, there
are many ways to express your talents besides being on stage. Read about our
volunteers HERE.
Help us spread the glory...if you [or someone you
know] recalls the names of some of our earlier directors, please email
the information to us at info2@bcfootlighters.com.
If you have any photographs of earlier plays, and would
like us to scan and post them on this website, please email the webmaster.
We'll return them safely back to you.
Special thanks goes to Pat Muldowney for researching
most of the earlier play names.
