Come to Auditions at Footlighters Click on the show title you are interested in at left. General Information Want to try your hand at acting? An appointment is (usually) not necessary, and there is no fee to audition. Simply come along, and bring a friend to help backstage. You are urged to be familiar with the story. Dress comfortably, and bring any items (resume, photos) etc. you may have. A professional resume or photo is NOT necessary to audition, neither is acting experience. If you are chosen for certain qualities, such as voice, we will teach you the rest. If cast, we hope you will assist with breakdown of the set after the run. Also, please read our Cast Agreement (link on left) for guidelines to follow while working at Footlighters. Bring a pal to help with props, costumes makeup or other work backstage. There's plenty of time to socialize in the actor's lounge. We can always use the help. No experience is necessary. So you won't miss out on future Footlighters audition and workshop notices, register on our Mailing List Sign-up page and be sure to check the box for the e-mail notification option. Remember to include your valid e-mail address to facilitate communication with you. Our Messages Board may have further information on an audition, and general discussions about a production. Click on the Auditions link at top left, to find out about the current (or results of a previous) audition call. Interested in Directing a Play for Footlighters? We are always looking to review new talent. No experience is necessary to start the process. Simply click on the link at left to download the necessary application form. You need Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your computer to open and print the form. It may already be installed on your computer. If not, download it HERE. It is free.
