Come to Auditions at Footlighters

General Information

Want to try your hand at acting? An appointment is (usually) not necessary, and there is no fee to audition. Simply come along, and bring a friend to help backstage. You are urged to be familiar with the story. Dress comfortably, and bring any items (resume, photos) etc. you may have. A professional resume or photo is NOT necessary to audition, neither is acting experience. If you are chosen for certain qualities, such as voice, we will teach you the rest.

If cast, we hope you will assist with breakdown of the set after the run. Also, please read our Cast Agreement (link on left) for guidelines to follow while working at Footlighters.

Bring a pal to help with props, costumes makeup or other work backstage. There's plenty of time to socialize in the actor's lounge. We can always use the help. No experience is necessary.

Remember to include your valid e-mail address to facilitate communication with you. Our Messages Board may have further information on an audition, and general discussions about a production.
